About Us

Innovative Learning Circle is a teaching and training consultancy dedicated to empowering
individuals to achieve their maximum potential through life long learning.
Our main focus is to help teachers and students acquire the skills
to effectively use a common visual language - Thinking MapsŪ.
The eight Thinking MapsŪ correspond to 8 fundamental thinking
processes and can be used to promote continuous cognitive development.

Our Management Team

Ho Poh Chun,
Managing Director and Principal Consultant (School Programmes),
is a retired school principal with more than 30 years of experience
in Education in Singapore. She has served as a consultant in Educational
Technology and teaches part-time at the National Institute of
Education. Poh Chun is a certified Thinking Maps Trainer. |

Monique Heah,
General Manager, has successfully developed several businesses
since her return from the US where she acquired her BSC from the
University of Southern California. She has been responsible for
disseminating the use of IT in Education programmes in over 90
preschool institutions in Singapore. |

Aravind Vasu,
Business Consultant, has over 15years experience in finance and
business development in the UK, Singapore, Malaysia and India.
Over the last 3 years he has been responsible for developing IT
in Education projects involving the MOE, The National Computer
Board, and Primary and Secondary schools. He holds a BA (Manchester
University) and a MSC (Cranfield Institute of Technology). |

Dr David Hyerle,
has been an International Leader in the field of thinking process
instruction for 15 years. He is the Author of several books including
"Visual Tools for Constructing Knowledge" (1996) with a "Fieldbook
on Visual Tools: From Classrooms to Careers". He is a Developer
of Thinking MapsŪ that has been implemented in 700 schools in
the United States and Canada, New Zealand, and Singapore. |
